”Gero Hot Spring” found in Gifu Prefecture is one of 3 hugely famous and popular hot springs resorts alongside both Arima Onsen (Hyogo Prefecture) and Kusatsu Onsen​ (Gunma Prefecture).
Gero Hot Sping’s most interesting characteristic is its smooth water quality. It allows your skin to become very smooth and soft, often called “The water of beauty”, which as you might expect, makes it very popular with women.
Within the hot springs town there is a foot bath, meaning you can enjoy the fun of a spa whilst exploring everything the town has to offer.
Within the nearby Gero Onsen Gassho Village that can be found close to the hot springs town, you can find a building with a traditional style of Japanese architecture with a steep thatched roof that has been reconstructed from Shirakawagou, it will surely allow you to come into contact with some of Japan’s traditional culture and history.
