17Maneki Neko Museum

Maneki Neko Museum is the largest Maneki Neko Museum in Japan, exhibiting thousands of personal collections. The museum is a Western-style building constructed in Seto in the early 1900s. Its impressive appearance has also made the building into a new landmark of central Seto. There are cat decorations hidden in the design of the building, including tiles and sculptures by local artists.
In the museum, various kinds of cat design artwork such as pottery, dolls, and paintings, as well as Meneki Neko created by contemporary artists are exhibited. Additionally, one fun thing to try is the dyeing experience where you can make your one of a kind Maneki Neko by painting a design on a Maneki Neko. The experience can be done in around 30 minutes to 1 hour, so it is easy to enjoy.
