The umbrella cloth is made of high-quality Mino Washi paper which is manufactured locally, and the gentle and beautiful colours of the cloth are eye-catching.
The biggest characteristic of Gifu Japanese Umbrella is that the manufacturing process is divided into more than 100 steps, and each step is executed by a professional craftsman. It takes several months to go through all the processes and complete a Japanese umbrella.
